SD9000-K-C水电站自动化装置是我公司自主研发的新型装置，它主要解决了目前水电站无人或少人值守的问题，使水电站真正做到了自动化、信息化。
SD9000-K-C是在SD9000-K-B基础上升级而成的，在满足原有基本功能上扩充到了16路温度巡检报警和保护功能。增加了32路开入，24路开出功能，并且能在线编程，基本上取代了昂贵的PLC，在人性化操作及装置自检功能上远远强于PLC。
SD9000-K-C是集完善的数据采集与处理、控制、调速、保护功能于一体。对全厂主要设备的运行状态和参数进行采集，并作出相应的处理。具有系统对时功能，负荷调节功能，自诊断功能。同时还具有自动准同期、测速、调速、交流量采集、励磁调节、调速系统、保护等功能。
SD9000-K-C采用功能强大的CPU模件：测控单元CPU模件采用高性能嵌入式工业微处理器；软件采用实时多任务的嵌入式操作系统。高档的软硬件配置使得CPU模件具有强大的数据处理能力、运算能力以及通讯处理能力。
SD9000-K-C采用模块结构，方便用户维护和升级。
SD9000-K-C自动化装置主要应用于高压机组也可以用于低压机组。由本装置和断路器、刀开关、SD9000-L微机励磁装置、电流互感器、继电器、接触器、常规仪表等电子元器件组成的SD9000水电站高、低压机组一体自动化控制屏，主要应用于高、低压机组微机自动化控制。
